    143 . Do You Need A Vietnam Single Or Multiple Entries Visa?

    First of all, we would like to inform you that our Vietnam visa service are available at the airport only. Therefore your visa must be picked up at the airport of Vietnam when you arrive if you use our visa service. Warning: Because this service is available for airport only, so you should contact Vietnamese embassy to get visa if you do not enter Vietnam by air. Please consider our advice below to decide single or multiple entries visa: Single entry visa allows you enter/exit Vietnam 1 time or it is also called visa with single use. Once your single entry visa used, you can not enter again Vietnam with this used visa. You must apply for the new one if you want to come back Vietnam again. For example, with 1 month single entry visa, you can enter Vietnam and stay there for less than 30 days. You can not re-enter Vietnam if you exit Vietnam after 10 days staying, even your visa valid for 30 days. Multiple entries visa allows you enter/exit Vietnam unlimited times as long as your visa still valid. Your multiple entries visa must be picked at the airport when you arrive. After getting your multiple entries visa at the airport, you can exit and re-enter Vietnam at any port s you want. Once you want to come back Vietnam but your visa is expired, you also need to apply for a new visa. In conclusion, your visa must be picked up upon arrival at the airport of Vietnam, but you can exit Vietnam at any ports you want after you get your Vietnam visa stamped on your passport at the airport. We recommend you apply for multiple entries visa if you intend to enter/exit Vietnam many times for a period.

    147 . What Are The Entry And Exit Requirements For Travelers?

    In order to enter Vietnam, you will need a valid passport with at least six months validity remaining and a Vietnamese visa, a visa exemption document, or a written approval letter for a visa upon arrival. You may obtain a visa or a visa exemption document from a Vietnamese embassy or consulate prior to traveling to Vietnam. To obtain a written approval letter to enter, you must contact a travel agency prior to departure. U.S. citizens have reported unscrupulous travel agencies taking advantage of. If you arrive without an appropriate Vietnamese visa, exemption document, or written approval for a visa upon arrival, you will not be permitted to enter and will be subject to immediate deportation. Vietnamese visas are usually valid for only one entry, unless the traveler specifically requests a multiple-entry visa, for which there may be an increased fee. If you are planning to leave Vietnam and re-enter from another country, be sure that your visa is multiple entry. If it is only single entry, you will have to obtain another visa prior to returning to Vietnam.
