Who can get a Vietnam eVisa at the airport?
A Vietnam eVisa is available to travelers arriving by air who have pre-applied online for eVisa. It is specifically for foreign nationals who enter Vietnam through its international airports. eVisa is only applicable to certain nationalities, typically those from countries that do not have a visa exemption agreement with Vietnam.
Eligible travelers include tourists, business visitors, and individuals attending conferences or other events. To obtain a eVisa, travelers must first apply for eVisa online through an authorized agency, which they then present at the visa counter upon arrival at the airport.
Documents required for eVisa
- A passport is valid for at least six months.
- The printed permission letter.
- A completed visa application form (available at the airport).
- Passport-sized photographs (usually two).
- Cash for visa stamping fees (which vary depending on the kind of visa).
Before going, always check the most recent visa laws and requirements, since they might vary depending on diplomatic ties and policy modifications. If you have any questions concerning specific countries or visa categories, please ask!
