What is Vietnam Visa on Arrival?
Vietnam eVisa is a type of visa that allows travelers to obtain a visa upon arrival at one of the international airports in Vietnam, rather than applying for a visa at a Vietnamese embassy or consulate prior to traveling.
To apply for a Vietnam eVisa, travelers must first obtain eVisa from the Vietnam Immigration Department. eVisa allows the traveler to board a flight to Vietnam and proceed through the visa-on-arrival process upon arrival. At the airport, the traveler presents their eVisa, passport, and visa stamping fee to the immigration officer, who will then stamp the visa into the traveler's passport.
Vietnam eVisa is available for both tourist and business purposes and can be issued for either single or multiple entries.
Moreover, we also recommend you apply for another type of visa, called the Vietnam e-Visa. The applicant just stays home and applies the entire process 100% online. But you need to prepare the required documents for the Vietnam visa application. Check Vietnam e-Visa requirements for international visitors now!
