Should I provide you with the exact date of arrival?
No, not necessarily. The arrival date you provide should be the earliest you plan to arrive, but you can arrive after that date. The departure date is the last day you are permitted to be in the country, unless you get a visa extension.
For example:
If you apply for a 1-month visa with an arrival date of January 1, 2023, the eVisa will be valid from January 1, 2023 to February 1, 2023. You may enter the country at any time between January 1 and February 1, but you must leave by February 1, 2023.
Please keep in mind that eVisa cannot be changed once it has been issued, so if you want to arrive earlier than the date specified on eVisa. To change the date of arrival, you must apply for a new letter of approval.
Planning your trip and having a good preparation is necessary. Check Vietnam visa requirements carefully before applying to avoid misunderstandings.
