How many Vietnam visa types for Korean citizens
According to the Vietnam visa rules that launched on July 1, 2020, there are 06 popular types of Vietnam visa:
- Tourist visa (DL)
- Business visa (DN1, DN2)
- Student/internship visa (DH)
- Investor Visa (DT1, DT2, DT3, DT4)
- Working visa (LD1 – LD2)
- Diplomatic visa (NG)
From March 15, 2022, The Vietnamese Government has reinstated the unilateral visa waiver program for citizens of 25 countries, including South Korea. As a result, South Korean passport holders DO NOT require a visa to enter Vietnam for staying up to 15 days.
For Tourist purposes, Korean passport holders can apply for Vietnam e-Visa for convenience if the visa holders wish to stay in Vietnam for over 15 days. The e-Visa is valid as a single entry authorization for up to 30 days for tourism. The application process is simple, you just need to complete the application form. The form only takes only 20 minutes.
