According to the Vietnam visa rules that launched on July 1, 2020, there are 06 popular types of Vietnam visas for Filipino citizens

Tourist visa (DL)

Business visa (DN1, DN2)

Student/internship visa (DH)

Investor Visa (DT1, DT2, DT3, DT4)

Working visa (LD1 – LD2)

Diplomatic visa (NG)

The Vietnamese Government has reinstated the unilateral visa waiver program for citizens of 25 countries, including the Philippines, effective March 15, 2022. As a result, Philippines passport holders do not need a visa to visit Vietnam for up to 21 days.

For tourist purposes, Filipino travelers can apply for a Vietnam e-Visa if they plan to stay in Vietnam for more than 21 days. The e-Visa is valid for up to 30 days as a single entry authorization.
