Can I Update My Port of Entry on a Vietnam eVisa?
No, as a rule, the port of entry cannot be altered on a Vietnam eVisa once it is issued. After approving your eVisa application, the entry point data is registered in the immigration system, and you are not able to update and edit it directly on your visa. In case you have to seek an alternative entry point other than intended, you will need to apply for a new eVisa with the relevant entry point details.

In the Application stage, you will have to select where you want to make entry (airport, land border, or seaport).
Once Approved: The entry port that is mentioned in your eVisa cannot be changed.
Correction: In case of the wrong port of entry, then you have to re-apply a new eVisa with the appropriate port of entry.
Apply for a new eVisa:
The simplest solution is to apply for a new eVisa with the appropriate port of entry. Your current eVisa will technically remain valid, but you will not be allowed to enter Vietnam through a different port.
Use the original port anyway:
Provided you have the opportunity, you should plan to arrive at the port to which your eVisa is issued. This may involve switching a flight or a route, but it can turn out to be less expensive than a new visa.
Are eVisas accepted at your port?
E-Visas are not accepted at all border crossings. Ensure that your target entry point falls on the approved list.
